Who we are

This policy applies to peoplecount.ai and the PeopleCount product (the “Service”), operated by PeopleCount. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” mean PeopleCount. Contact us at support@peoplecount.ai.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you submit a contact form or a Build request form, we collect the information you choose to enter — typically your name, email, company, role, and the message or scope you describe. When you create a PeopleCount account, we also collect the credentials and profile information you provide.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the marketing site, our hosting provider may log standard request data (IP address, user agent, pages visited, timestamps). We use this only for security and to understand how the site is used.

Information from third parties. If you contact us through a third-party form provider or chat tool, that provider passes your submission to us. We do not currently receive personal information from data brokers or marketing-list providers.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

We do not use your information for behavioral advertising, and we do not sell or rent it.

How we share your information

We share information only as needed to operate the Service or comply with the law:

SMS and mobile information

We collect mobile phone numbers from users who choose to add and verify a phone number within the PeopleCount product. We use these numbers solely to deliver transactional messages you have opted in to receive — one-time verification codes and account notifications.

No mobile information — including phone numbers and SMS opt-in data — is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share this information with service providers, such as our SMS delivery vendor, strictly to operate the messaging service on our behalf; those providers may not use it for their own marketing.

You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message.

How long we keep your information

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, satisfy legitimate business needs (such as fulfilling contracts, resolving disputes, and meeting accounting obligations), and comply with legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email support@peoplecount.ai with your request and we will respond within a reasonable time. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Cookies and similar technologies

The marketing site uses minimal cookies and local storage — only what is needed to operate the site. We do not currently use third-party advertising or behavioral tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will use a privacy-friendly provider and update this policy.

Children

PeopleCount is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International users

PeopleCount is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. If we make material changes, we will notify you by reasonable means.
